“Holy Jellybeans is down-to-earth, inspirational, and delightful–just like Rebecca Carrell. She writes with depth, vulnerability and passion about how God has taught her about His word and His will in the midst of ordinary life. After reading her scripture-filled meditations on simple-yet-profound moments, you’ll come away encouraged in your faith and in God’s immense, personal love for each one of us.”

Product Description

Do you believe that God still speaks? I do. I believe we serve a God who deeply desires to be heard, who longs for intimacy with His children. While the Bible is His primary means of communication, He speaks in other ways, too. Sometimes He uses a song or a sunset. Sometimes He uses jellybeans. Yes, I said jellybeans.

Are you ready to experience God in a new way? Are you willing to listen to His whispers, to follow His promptings? Are you ready to see with His eyes and hear with His ears? Then you are ready for Holy Jellybeans.

Holy Jellybeans is a collection of stories designed to whisper sweet words of comfort to the restless heart. It’s an invitation to explore the character, nature, and will of the only one who can validate you, the only one who can truly know you, and the only one who can satisfy the longings buried deep within your soul.

Rebecca Carrell is a popular radio personality, conference speaker, and Bible teacher in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and beyond. With humor and wit, she weaves Scripture and stories together to show how Jesus Christ is indeed alive and active in the heart of the believer. Her enthusiasm and passionate love for her Savior will ignite in you a desire to dig deeper into the Bible and grow in your own knowledge and faith. Holy Jellybeans is a tall drink of water for the tired and thirsty soul.

I absolutely love this book! Rebecca speaks from the heart and puts into words what I can not form but what I do feel. I kept saying through the whole book “Oh yea! that is a great way to say that”. I am a woman of few words and so this book has giving me the PERFECT way to express the word to others. Rebecca you are truly a blessing to this world. Daily you put the word of God on the radio and now you have put your unique style of sharing the word with others on paper. I will be sharing this book any chance I get.

Love Rebecca’s sweet and tender heart toward God and toward His people. Her style reminds me of a female version of Max Lucado — gentle conversations with God’s loving truth.

A great read by a precious woman!

Each story really touched my heart in a way that is hard to explain. I love listening to Rebecca on the radio so this book is a real treat for my soul. I will not be sharing my book because I will read it over and over again. But I am buying 5 more for special ladies in my life.

Confession: I hate to read. The only book I carve out time for is the Bible. I just don’t have the time or energy to invest in most books. But I love Rebecca’s style of teaching on the radio, so I thought I’d give this one a whirl. Wow. This book. Every time I pick it up, each entry leaves me feeling like I’ve just been to a retreat. She welcomes me into her stories with laughter and even tears and shares how she met God there. So transparent and warm… like sitting in a sunny spot on a cool day.
Rebecca has a divine gift for being able to share a deep truth of the Word through a personal story… in record time. Those of us with short attention spans thank you for speaking our language! 😉 Buying 20 more to give out as Christmas gifts. Not kidding. Jellybeans aren’t just for Easter anymore.
